An infidelity lie detector test is the single most common reason people call us. Suspicion about cheating rarely resolves itself: one partner is certain something happened, the other insists nothing did, and the argument goes round in circles for months. An EyeDetect® examination gives you an independent, documented answer instead of another conversation that ends in a row.
We test at your own home, or at a private meeting room nearby if home is not practical. There is no clinic to attend, nothing on our vehicle to say why we are there, and the examiner is the only person who will ever discuss your case with you. The examination itself takes around 30 minutes, uses no wires or sensors, and is 86-88% accurate.
You get a verbal result on the day and a written report afterwards. Most couples book together and hear the outcome side by side, which is usually the point of the exercise: to either close the subject honestly or stop pretending it is closed.
Before the appointment your examiner speaks with you privately and agrees the questions. This matters more than anything else in the process. A test can only answer clear, factual, yes/no questions about specific events — "have you had sexual contact with anyone other than me since January this year" works; "do you still love me" does not. We will tell you honestly if a question cannot be tested and help you rewrite it.
On the day, the person being tested reads and answers questions on a screen while EyeDetect® records involuntary eye behaviour — pupil response, blink patterns and reading behaviour that a person cannot consciously control. There is nothing strapped to the body, no breathing tubes and no blood pressure cuff, which is why people find it far less stressful than a traditional polygraph.
The data is scored by the system rather than judged by a person in the room, and you get the result the same day. If the result is deceptive, we tell you plainly. If it is truthful, you get that in writing too, which is often what a wrongly accused partner has been asking for all along.
Plenty of couples want both partners tested in the same visit — sometimes because the accusation runs both ways, sometimes because the accused partner wants the accuser held to the same standard. Our couples testing rate covers two examinations in one appointment at £800 rather than two separate bookings.
Where both partners are tested, each is examined separately and each gets their own report. Nobody sits in on the other person's questions.
A test is most useful when you already know what a truthful answer and a deceptive answer would each mean for you. If the result is deception, what happens next? If it is truthful, will you actually accept it? Couples who have thought that through get far more out of the day than couples who book in the middle of an argument.
We will not test anyone who has not freely agreed to it, anyone under 18, or anyone who is intoxicated or in acute mental health crisis. If we think a test is the wrong call for your situation, we will say so on the phone rather than take your money.

£495 for one person, all-inclusive within 50 miles of our Darlington base, or £800 for a couples test where both partners are examined. Beyond 50 miles we add 60p per mile, quoted before you commit. A £50 deposit secures the appointment.

Only you. We arrive in an unmarked vehicle, our paperwork carries no visible branding, and results are released only to the person who commissioned the test unless you instruct us otherwise in writing.
Refusal is not proof of anything, and we would never suggest treating it that way. Many people are simply frightened of being wrongly labelled. Talking to our examiner beforehand about how the test works resolves that more often than you would expect.
