Not every relationship test is about cheating. We are regularly asked to test claims about money, drinking, gambling, contact with an ex, hidden debt, drug use, whether a promise made after a previous incident has actually been kept, or what really happened years before the relationship started.
These are the questions that quietly corrode a relationship because there is no way to settle them. One person cannot prove something did not happen; the other cannot un-suspect it. An independent EyeDetect® examination puts a documented answer on the table so the two of you can deal with facts.
Tests are carried out privately at your home or a nearby meeting room, take around 30 minutes, and produce a same-day result with a written report. Couples often book together so neither partner feels singled out.
A credibility test measures whether someone is being truthful about specific facts. It cannot measure feelings, intentions or how someone will behave in future. "Have you gambled since the 1st of March" is testable. "Will you ever gamble again" is not.
Your examiner will go through your concerns with you before the appointment and turn them into a small number of precise, answerable questions. Fewer, sharper questions produce a far more useful result than a long list of vague ones.
A large share of our relationship work happens after something has already come out. The couple has decided to stay together, boundaries have been agreed, and the partner who was hurt needs more than a promise before they can move on.
In those cases a test at an agreed point — three months, six months, a year — gives both people something concrete. The partner making the effort gets credit that is documented rather than doubted, and the partner who was hurt gets a genuine check rather than reassurance on repeat.
We test seven days a week, including evenings, and can usually attend within a couple of days. Bookings are held with a £50 deposit and the balance is due before the appointment; the full price including any travel is shown to you before you pay anything.
Everything about the visit is discreet. Our vehicle is unmarked, nothing we carry identifies the service, and the report goes only to the person who booked unless you tell us in writing to share it.
It can cover a small cluster of closely related facts. Mixing unrelated topics into one examination weakens the result, so if you have two very different concerns your examiner may recommend two tests.
No. Many bookings involve one person only. Where both partners want testing, our couples rate of £800 covers two examinations in one visit.
Allow around 90 minutes in total: a private pre-test discussion, roughly 30 minutes of testing, then the result and explanation.
There is nothing attached to the body. You read questions on a screen and answer them. Most people describe it as far less intimidating than they expected, and nerves alone do not produce a deceptive result.
The whole of the UK and Ireland. There is no travel charge within 50 miles of Darlington; beyond that we add 60p per mile and quote it up front.
Yes. Your report lists the exact questions asked and the outcome for each, so it stands on its own if you ever need to show it to someone else.
